60 YEARS OF FISHING IN KONA’S FAMOUS WATERS

Once again, the world meets here in Kona this summer where the tradition of big Marlin fishing aboard some of Kona’s finest fishing fleet, captains and crews continues. Returning teams, new anglers and a continued commitment to further world-wide attention on fish conservation through its successful tag and release program are just some of the expected returns as thirty-five teams gather from around the world to celebrate HIBT’s diamond milestone. HIBT salutes all the anglers and charter boat captains and crews who have brought their best talent and enthusiasm.

The 2019 60th annual Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament is slated for July 27 through August 4, 2019. Five days of tournament fishing starts Monday, July 29 through Friday, August 2.

The Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament is supported by the generosity of Hawaii Tourism and numerous community donors who contribute time and resources
